Shown above is a HARTH Luxury Super Yacht capable of accepting the landing of a Learjet aircraft. This is only now possible due first, to the absence of pitch, roll, heave, sway or yaw of the HARTH vessel. Secondly, the low drag of the HARTH hulls allow for very fast speeds of the yacht providing a situation where the speed of the yacht matches the landing speed of the corporate jet plane. The speed of this mega power yacht effectively stretches the distance of the 'landing strip' to that of a commercial airport. The matching of speed with the aircraft then provide the pilot with the opportunity for a very controlled and gentle landing on the vessel. Proprietary systems then securely captures the aircraft and the yacht may then slow to any desired speed, or even nose in to a beach docking. Beaching is possible because of the shallow draft and ultra-stability preventing any chaffing on sand or gravel, even as breakers roll in.
